Delete your account and data

This page applies to English Checkers by PlayFrenzy (com.playfrenzy.english.checkers) and to any PlayFrenzy game that offers online multiplayer.

You only have an account if you have played online multiplayer. Single-player and two-players-on-one-device do not create an account, and there is nothing to delete.

The quickest way: delete it in the game

You do not need to contact us, and you do not need to wait.

  1. Open English Checkers
  2. Tap Play Online
  3. Open your profile
  4. Choose Delete account

Deletion happens immediately.

If you no longer have the app installed

Email contact@playfrenzy.co from the email address linked to your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. Tell us your in-game display name if you remember it.

We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What deleting removes

  • Your account and account ID
  • Your display name, which is released for anyone else to use
  • Your avatar
  • Your skill rating for every game variant
  • Your online statistics: games played, won, lost and drawn, and your streaks
  • Your online/offline presence record

If you signed in with Google, we stop holding the name and email address we received from Google. Deleting your PlayFrenzy account does not affect your Google account itself.

What is kept, and why

Records of matches you played are kept. A match is shared between two people, so it is also part of your opponent’s game history, and their rating and statistics are calculated from it. Where a match record is kept, it refers to an account identifier that is no longer connected to any profile, display name or email address.

If you reported another player, or were reported, we keep that report for as long as we need it to investigate — otherwise deleting an account would erase the evidence of the behaviour it was reported for.

We may also keep information where the law requires us to.
